Raystown Lake Seven Points Campground

This was our first trip tent camping at Raystown Lake and the Seven Points Campground.

This was our second camping trip with the Coleman tent. It rained most of one night of the 4 nights. Tent stayed perfectly dry inside.

We had a good time at the Seven Points Campground. We stayed on the Senoia Loop at the top of the hill. Our campsite was nice. We drove around and looked at some of the other areas of the Seven Points Campground. If your planning a stay research your sites well as they are hit or miss as to size and layout.

The Shower and bathroom facilities were very clean. You can get ice and the sign in office and fire wood is sold at a couple places right on the road going in. We got our firewood at the Ice Cream place.

We went on the pontoon boat tour and hiked the Nature trail at the visitors center. While there was enough things of interest for us to do for four days the first time being there, as we don’t boat, fish or kayak. Four nights was about the right length of stay for an enjoyable visit for us

I think we were reminded by almost EVERY passing park ranger that portable showers were not allowed when they saw our portapotty tent….

Changing tent with Luggable Loo in it.

When we packed up to leave we had no idea this was going to be our last tent camping vacation for awhile.
